HOPE

Welcome to HOPE!

We are looking forward to a wonderful year! HOPE is for 40 day old infants to Preschool age children. We will begin our sessions at 10 AM in the gym for fellowship and play. At 10:15, we will move to the Chapel to venerate icons, light candles, and gather in the front of the church for prayers and a short lesson or story. This year, we will be learning all about our Old Testament Heroes! After the lesson, we will return to the gym for songs, a healthy snack, and then a craft or free play.

As the children are so young, we expect them to act as such. Do not be discouraged if children “explore” the chapel space, want to socialize with other children during lessons, or do not want to participate. Encourage them to sit for the lesson and join in the circle for songs, but ultimately, just let them have a good time without frustration.

This is a group focused on teaching young children about our faith, but parents & caregivers need connection and support in raising their little ones as well! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new families at the parish and connect with one another.
