Mother's Day 2020 (1 of 2)
Dear St. John the Baptist family,
Traditionally, on Mother’s Day, our church & chapel are filled with family & friends coming together to pray & honor their mothers. We'd embrace our mothers, grandmothers & godmothers with prayers, love & a flower joyfully handed to them by one of our GOYAns.
Although we're not able to be together in our church this year, we still choose to honor each of a special and unique way. The north wall of our chapel is adorned with icons of women saints.
Mother's Day 2020 (2 of 2)
To honor them and you, we have placed flowers in front of each and we have placed a choir of women saints in the pews. May Panagia and the saints guide and protect our mothers! Please know that we are thinking of all of you.
Wishing you all a blessed and beautiful Mother's Day!

With love in Our Resurrected Lord,
+ Fr. John Rallis, Protopresbyter
+ Fr. Athanasios Minetos, Associate Pastor
John Strubulis, President, Parish Council
Kathi Stamatis, President, Ladies Philoptochos Society

Who is St. Andrew of Crete and What is the Great Canon?
As we approach the 5th Sunday of Great Lent, we have an opportunity to learn about and appreciate St Andrew of Crete, and his Great Penitential Canon, which is recited this Thursday. We will be live streaming this service at 6pm to your little church in your home this week. Join us as we continue to live stream Divine services of the Orthodox Church regularly. The full copy of St Andrew is below based on the three questions Fr. John asked during his sermon a few days ago.
